...and speaking of science

The Center for Inquiry Canada, a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to encourage evidence-based inquiry into paranormal and fringe science claims, alternative medicine and mental health practices, religion, secular ethics, and society, has announced a new campaign to establish offices in major cities throughout the country.  Evidently, one of CFI’s largest donors has committed himself to a $200,000 donation towards the project if CFI can raise $300,000 by September 30, 2011.  It's called the Next Big Challenge, and you can donate at their website.
